Our writing assignment this week tied in with our essential question of the week which was "Where can your imagination take you?" It was to pretend that you are the smallest fish in the sea and then to write a narrative about it. Many of the students encountered some scary things underwater like sharks, giant squid and fishermans' hooks.
We are almost at the end of our data unit in math. We learned about bar graphs this week. We gathered data with the help of the other second grade class this week to help us create our bar graphs. Next week we will be taking our last assessment. Yay!!
We are almost finished Charlotte's Web. They have arrived at the Fair and Charlotte has spun her last word for Wilbur...HUMBLE.
As you know, field day has been rescheduled to Monday. Please remember to prepare your child for the day by sending in sunscreen and/or a towel. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will have a fun day.
