The New Year is Off to a Great Start

We are now a few weeks into the new year and we are off to a great start.  Keep in mind that there's a lot of different kinds of illnesses gong around.  Please remind your children the importance of washing their hands to keep them free from germs. 

We are very busy with our UNLESS contest project.  We have been learning about  Panamanian Golden Frog.  In fact, we made some videos about them, Here is a sample of one:

In reading we have been working of sequencing skills, and finding author's purpose.  This week we are reading abut ways to help your community.  

We will be taking a unit test at the end of this week in math.  A review study guide will be coming home on Wednesday.
